My wifebought this YYYLAB Carnosine PDRN cream to try out in her skincare routine. She's been using it daily and says it feels really good on her skin, it goes on smoothly and provides a nice layer of deep moisture without feeling overly greasy. As far as the anti-aging and wrinkle results go, she isn't entirely sure if it's doing anything dramatic just yet. Skincare takes a while to show real changes, so time will tell! For now, she's happy with the texture and hydration, and we'll see how it holds up over the next few weeks.

I'm always on the lookout for new k-beauty products because they usually offer something new and novel beyond what is available in stores in the US. I was unfamiliar with the YYYLab brand name, but when I did a web search, the brand was promoting all over social media so I concluded that it must be a newer brand trying to get the word out.This PDRN moisturizer is a true gel. It goes on almost as if you're putting aloe on your skin, but then melts into a super moisturizing liquid that absorbs super fast into the skin. It's neither sticky nor irritating. I've mostly been using it at night, but it almost instantly gives enough plump and glow to classify as the glass skin effect that is so popular right now. And to be honest, it just feels really, really nice. I have very dry skin and this moisturizer helps face look so fresh and awake. I really love it, and despite the price, I'll be repurchasing it again. A definite five star product!

I have been using this Carnosine PDRN Age-Defying Complex Cream for a couple of weeks now, mainly in the mornings, and I am really impressed. I have tried quite a few Korean skincare products over the past year, and most have been great compared to others I have used. So far, this one is near the top of my list.It comes in a heavy, attractive glass jar. That does not affect performance, of course, but it looks nice sitting on my vanity.The texture is interesting. It is more of a gel-cream with tiny clear beads throughout that break as you smooth it onto your skin. Once applied, it feels more like a lightweight cream. It is a little different, but I like it.It spreads easily and absorbs fairly quickly. My skin looks refreshed after using it, and it seems to slightly soften the look of fine lines around my eyes and mouth. It does not do much for deeper lines, which I would not expect from a product like this anyway.There is no sticky or oily residue, just soft, smooth skin, which makes it a nice base for makeup.I have dry, sensitive skin and have had no issues with irritation. I also did not notice any fragrance, which I know is important for a lot of people.The only downside for me is the price. It is currently quite a bit more expensive than some other creams I have used, so I am not sure yet if I would repurchase, even though I do really like it.

I was really excited to try some Korean beauty products.This product came in a nice box. The "cream" is in a nice heavy glass jar with a screw top lid that's easy to remove. There's a second plastic lid that acts as a seal and is easily removed by a tab.The formula is a thick gel that's too sticky to apply and spread on dry skin. If you add a bit a moisture (like after washing your face), it spreads wonderfully and feels pretty hydrating. I don't really notice much fragrance, if any.There are little pearls in the gel that I can feel, but can't really see. They seem to melt when the gel is applied. The gel does seem like a "cream- gel" and reminds me of other "water creams" that I've tried. Maybe a little thicker.I typically follow this up with a hydrating mist and it seems to absorb well and doesn't leave me greasy or sticky as long as there's enough moisture. I follow that with a ceramide moisturizer.I do feel like this is a nice formula and the jar is lovely, but at the current price of $45 for 50ml, it's nothing life changing and I probably wouldn't purchase again over my current drugstore brands.
